A Strong Start
What a way to start the game, Nats fans! We came out swinging in the bottom of the 2nd inning, putting up two great runs against the Braves. Jacob Young and CJ Abrams got our bats going with a sacrifice fly and a key single to bring in those runs. We were on top 2-0, and it felt like we were in control.

Mid-Game Challenges
The Braves, however, had other plans. In the top of the 4th inning, they launched a flurry of hits, including a homerun by Jurickson Profar and Matt Olson. Before we knew it, they had charged ahead, bringing the score to 5-2. It was a tough pill to swallow, but there was still plenty of game left. Come on, Nats! Let's rally!

Late-Inning Efforts
Our boys showed heart right to the end. In the bottom of the 8th inning, Daylen Lile gave us some hope by tripling to right and then coming home off of Jorge Alfaro's single, trimming the lead to 6-3. We made some last-ditch efforts in the 9th, with Nasim Nuñez and Robert Hassell III trying to spark a comeback. Unfortunately, the Braves held on to their lead, and we just couldn't bring it home. Final score: Braves 6, Nats 3. We fought hard, and the spirit was undeniable. On to the next one, Nats fans! Let's keep our heads up!
