Early Struggles But a Strong Comeback
The game started off slow for our Braves. The score remained tied at zero for the first four innings. Our bats were a bit quiet, and we struggled to get runs on the board. The Nationals managed to pull ahead in the bottom of the 5th inning, scoring three runs. However, our Braves answered promptly in the 6th inning. Ronald Acuña Jr. kicked things off with a single and eventually scored after a Drake Baldwin double. Following that, Marcell Ozuna brought in two more runs with a clutch single, allowing us to steal the lead with a score of 4-3 by the middle of the 6th.Sealing the Game
In the 7th inning, Matt Olson brought the power with a stunning shot over right-center field, extending our lead to 5-3 with his homer!
The Nationals tried to rally in the bottom of the 9th with a single run, but Michael Harris II and the rest of the Braves' defense remained tight, closing out the game comfortably. This victory speaks volumes of our team's resilience and skill on the field.
On to the Next One!
