An Exciting Game at Fenway Despite a Tough Loss
Hey, fellow Red Sox fans!

Sluggish Start for the Sox
The game commenced with strong defense from both sides. At the top of the first inning, Gunnar Henderson walked but didn't get further than first base. Our defense was on point as Adley Rutschman struck out swinging, followed by a perfect double play by our infield to drop Ryan O'Hearn's grounder. And in our turn, some hard swings didn't translate to runs. Jarren Duran, Rafael Devers, and Rob Refsnyder were halted by the Orioles' defense.
Orioles Strikes and Red Sox Retaliate
The deadlock remained into the 8th inning, where Baltimore's Ryan O'Hearn managed an RBI single to bring Henderson home. Our bullpen did what they could, and Cristopher Guerrero did his utmost to minimize the damage. Fast forward to the 9th inning and the Orioles were leading 2-0 after a tactical double by Dylan Carlson sealed another run.
Yet, in the bottom of the 9th, our own Abraham Toro hit a thrilling home run to put us on the board and plant seeds of hope

Look Ahead—We'll Rise Again!
Yes, it's a tad painful to stomach this loss, but there were definitely some stellar plays that we can look to improve, especially from names like Connor Wong and Kristian Campbell. With a bit more consistency at the plate, we can certainly turn these tight battles into victories. Onward to the next game, and let's rally behind our Red Sox stronger than ever! Let’s get loud for our boys, because we know they’ll bounce back!
