Tough Loss in Extra Innings for the Orioles
Hey, O's fans. Things didn't go our way tonight against the Red Sox. We fought hard, but ultimately fell 5-3 in a heartbreaking walk-off loss in the bottom of the 10th inning. Early Game Action
Our boys started off strong defensively. Both teams were scoreless through the first couple of innings. Colton Cowser gave us some hope with a triple in the 2nd inning, but we couldn't convert it into a run.Taking the Lead
Top of the 3rd inning brought some excitement when Emmanuel Rivera launched a solo homer to left, giving the Orioles a 1-0 lead. However, the Red Sox responded quickly due to a throwing error by Rivera later in the 3rd inning, which tied up the game 1-1.Back and Forth
The Red Sox took the lead in the bottom of the 4th inning, but Anthony Santander evened things up with a solo shot in the top of the 8th inning. We were back at 2-2 and the tension was real!Extra Innings Drama
Emmanuel Rivera stepped up again in the top of the 10th, singling in Austin Slater to give us a 3-2 lead! Unfortunately, the bottom of the inning was tough. A crucial error by Jackson Holliday set the stage for Boston, and then came the dagger—Tyler O'Neill hit a 3-run walk-off homer to seal the game for the Red Sox at 5-3.Looking Ahead
