Tough Loss for the White Sox
Well, folks, it wasn’t the outcome we were hoping for as the Chicago White Sox fell to the Baltimore Orioles 4-1. The game started positively for us, with Mike Tauchman getting on base with a walk in the bottom of the 1st inning. Curtis Mead stepped up with a crucial single to right, bringing Tauchman home and giving us an early lead
. Trouble in the Middle Innings
Our boys held strong through the beginning of the game. Ken Burke and Carlos Alexander did a commendable job holding the Orioles in check. However, things took a turn in the top of the 6th inning. The highlight for Baltimore was when Colton Cowser hit a devastating home run to left center, scoring three and putting them ahead 4-1. It was tough to watch our momentum slip away like that.Struggling Down the Stretch
Unfortunately, our bats went cold after that first inning. We managed some base runners, but we couldn't come through in the clutch. Colson Montgomery and Miguel Vargas tried to gain some ground in the latter innings, but the Orioles' bullpen proved to be effective at shutting us down.Overall, it’s just one game, and we’ll bounce back. There were some bright spots, and we’ve seen what our lineup is capable of when we’re clicking. Let's cheer on the White Sox to regroup and come back stronger in the next game!
