Exciting Victory for the Rockies! 🎉

What a game, Rockies fans! Our boys pulled off a thrilling 7-5 victory against the Baltimore Orioles at Coors Field. From strong pitching to clutch hitting, we saw it all tonight! Here's a recap of all the juicy details:

Early Lead and Pitching Mastery

The game started as a pitcher's duel with no runs in the first inning. In the second inning, we got on the board first when Brenton Doyle doubled to left and Brendan Rodgers singled him home. Moments later, Drew Romo doubled to center to bring in both Jordan Beck and Rodgers. Rockies up 3-0! 💪

On the mound, our pitcher was lights out, making quick work of the Orioles' lineup early on.

Mid-Game Drama

The Orioles began to claw back in the 4th inning when Anthony Santander hit a two-run homer, trimming our lead to 3-2. They tied it up in the 5th with a three-run rally, making it 5-5. But our guys didn't let that discourage them! 🎢

In the bottom of the 4th, Charlie Blackmon tripled to center, scoring Beck and Romo to push our lead to 5-2. Though the Orioles tied it up, we never lost faith.

Clutch Moments in the 8th Inning

The game turned in our favor in the bottom of the 8th. Nolan Jones doubled to left and Jordan Beck singled him home, giving us a 6-5 lead. Beck then stole third and scored on Drew Romo's groundout, extending our lead to 7-5. 🚀

Closing It Out

The top of the 9th was nerve-wracking. Cedric Mullins walked and stole second, eventually reaching third on a wild pitch. But Tyler Kinley came in clutch, striking out the last two Orioles batters to seal the victory!

What a night for Rockies fans! Let's carry this momentum forward. Go Rockies! 🎉⚾
