What a game, Tigers fans! Our boys in Detroit powered through the Baltimore Orioles with a thrilling 6-2 victory!
The Orioles may have opened the scoring late in the third, but our Tigers responded with a bang! Thanks to a 398-foot bomb by Riley Greene, bringing in Jace Jung and Gleyber Torres, we took the lead and never looked back.Key Performances
Riley Greene was the spark with his crucial home run in the 3rd inning. But it wasn't all about the long ball; our team's patience was evident, too! Spencer Torkelson came up huge in the 7th with a double that knocked in two more runs, extending our lead and adding some much-needed insurance. Zach McKinstry then added to the party with his own double, cementing a well-rounded offensive game!Closing It Down
The bullpen was lights out today! Lee, Guenther, and Kahnle all stepped in to shut down any remaining hope the Orioles had, with Kahnle beautifully closing the 9th inning, striking out Mullins for the last out. We couldn't have asked for a better performance from our pitchers. Onward and upward, Detroit! Let's keep this momentum going in the next game. Go Tigers!
