What a game, folks! The Baltimore Orioles faced off against the Kansas City Royals in an action-packed match that had us on the edge of our seats until the very last moment. The final score of 9-7 in favor of our Orioles is something to be celebrated!

The game started off tense, with both teams keeping each other at bay. However, the top of the 2nd inning saw the Orioles' bats catch fire. It all kicked off with Jordan Westburg singling and then stealing second. Ramon Urías doubled to bring Westburg home, and the runs just kept on coming. James McCann, Gunnar Henderson, and Adley Rutschman all contributed singles, with Ryan Mountcastle and Anthony Santander also getting in on the action. By the middle of the inning, the Orioles had built a monumental 7-0 lead.
Pitching Holds Strong
Following the offensive rally, the Orioles' pitching staff dug deep and held the Royals at bay for the majority of the game. Despite a challenging bottom of the 7th, where the Royals rallied back with a series of hits and capitalized on a wild pitch to close the gap to 8-7, our Orioles didn’t let it shake them.Closing Moments Seal the Deal
In the top of the 8th, the Birds didn’t let the Royals' comeback unsettle them. Anthony Santander doubled to bring in Ryan Mountcastle, adding an insurance run and increasing the lead to 9-7.
Then, in came Craig Kimbrel in the bottom of the 9th, shutting down the Royals in 1-2-3 fashion, ensuring the Orioles walked away with a hard-fought victory.The game was a rollercoaster with its fair share of nail-biting moments, especially when the Royals started their comeback.
