Tough Loss for the Angels Against the Orioles
It's been a tough day at the ballpark for the Los Angeles Angels fans as the team fell to the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 4-1. With some missed opportunities and a few big plays by the Orioles, it just wasn't our night.

A Bumpy Start for Our Angels
The top of the 1st inning started with promise as our pitching held tough against most of the Orioles lineup. However, Gunnar Henderson managed to break the ice with a solo homer to right-center, putting Baltimore in the lead early on. As the innings progressed, our bats just couldn't catch fire. Despite a few strong swings, Zach Neto and Nolan Schanuel couldn't capitalize, and by the middle of the 2nd, the Orioles had stretched their lead to 3-0.
Flashes of Hope in the 7th
In the 7th inning, things started looking up for the Angels. Yoan Moncada gave a spirited performance, tripling to right field!
The Final Innings
As the game headed into the final innings, the Angels fought hard to keep the game close. Luis Rengifo and Jo Adell had some moments with solid at-bats, and pinch hitter Jorge Soler showed patience with a walk. But unfortunately, Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson ended up padding the Orioles' lead further, with Rutschman scoring in the top of the 9th.Despite attempts to rally in the bottom of the 9th, the Orioles' Felix Bautista managed to shut down our last hopes for a rally with a strong closing performance.
Let's regroup, stay positive, and come back stronger in the next game!
