Tough Loss in LA: Dodgers 6, Orioles 3
Man, what a game. Our beloved O's tried their best, but the Dodgers were just too strong today. Let's break it down.Early Struggles
The game started off tough for us. In the top of the 1st, Colton Cowser and Gunnar Henderson both struck out, while Adley Rutschman grounded out. The Dodgers, on the other hand, managed to get runners on, but our defense kept them from scoring.Dodgers Strike First
The Dodgers took the lead in the bottom of the 2nd. Enrique Hernández doubled and Chris Taylor brought him home, putting them ahead 1-0. Our guys couldn't get anything going in the top of the 3rd either.Fifth Inning Fireworks
The 5th inning was where things really got interesting. Cedric Mullins walked, Ramon Urías grounded out, and Jackson Holliday struck out. Then, with two outs, Colton Cowser hit a spectacular 397-foot homer to center, bringing in Mullins and Holliday. Suddenly, it was 5-3, and we had some momentum.Dodgers Hold Their Ground
Unfortunately, the Dodgers weren't done. In the bottom of the 4th, they managed to bring in a couple more runs, making it 5-0. Our bullpen tried to keep us in it, especially with solid performances from G. Soto and Bowman, but the Dodgers added one more insurance run in the 8th.Falling Short in the 9th
Our boys didn't go down without a fight. Cedric Mullins got hit by a pitch to start the 9th, but Urías struck out, and Holliday and Cowser couldn't get the job done, leaving us with a final score of 6-3. So close, yet so far

Even though we didn't get the win today, there were some promising moments. Let's keep our heads up and look forward to the next game. As always, let's go O's!
Final Thoughts
This was a challenging game against a strong Dodgers team. We had our moments, especially with Cowser's home run, but it just wasn't enough. We hope to see better results in the next matchup. Stay strong, Orioles fans!
