Early Frustration
O's fans, the game began with our lineup struggling to find their footing. In the top of the 1st, Gunnar Henderson, Jordan Westburg, and Adley Rutschman were all retired in quick succession. The Twins struck first in the bottom of the 2nd with a solo homer from Carlos Santana, giving them a 1-0 lead. Our relievers were on fire, shutting down the Twins' attempts to rally. Domínguez and Soto kept them off the scoreboard in the 7th, while Webb handled the 8th inning. Selby closed out the 9th with a stellar performance, ensuring the Twins couldn't mount a comeback.Final Thoughts
