Game Start: Orioles Off to a Solid Start
What a start for our Baltimore Orioles!
The game against the Yankees began on a high note for us in the top of the 1st inning. With Jackson Holliday singling to left and later, Ramón Urías earning a run after a single from Ryan O'Hearn, things were looking promising. Soon after, Gunnar Henderson scored thanks to a powerful double from Colton Cowser! By the end of the first, we were up 2-0, with the Yankees failing to gain any ground. Go O's! 
Tense Mid-Game: Holding the Lead
The excitement was palpable as we continued to hold off the Yankees. Despite a small misstep in the bottom of the 2nd inning with a throwing error that allowed them an unearned run, our boys kept the Yankees in check through the mid-innings. Kudos to Kyle Bradish and the pitching crew for stifling their lineup for so long. Every pitch was crucial, and our defense was on point.️Late Inning Heartbreak
The tide turned painfully in the 8th inning. The Yankees pushed back with some aggressive plays, leading to a crushing series of runs, including a two-RBI double by Jazz Chisholm Jr. that put them ahead. With unfortunate errors and Gary Sánchez struggling behind the plate, they advanced their lead. Our efforts in the 9th inning weren’t enough, and the game ended at 4-2 in favor of the Yankees. Despite the loss, our team's early innings were a testament to what the Orioles can achieve. Keep your heads up, O's fans; we'll get them next time!
