Orioles' Early Lead
What a rollercoaster of emotions this game turned out to be for us Orioles fans! Kicking off the game, Samuel Basallo set the tone with a beautiful two-run double in the 2nd inning, sending Dylan Beavers and Dylan Carlson home. A solid start to put us ahead 2-0.

Fightback by the Padres
The Padres weren't going down without a fight. In the bottom of the 2nd, they came back with two runs of their own, courtesy of a clutch single by Bryce Johnson and a base hit from Luis Arraez. With the score tied at 2-2, it was shaping up to be a tense affair.
Lead Changes and Tensions Rise
In the 5th inning, our very own Jeremiah Jackson showcased his power with a towering solo home run, putting us back up, 3-2!
However, the Padres matched that with a run in the bottom half, leveling the score once more. As the tension sizzled, it was nail-biting to see who would seize control. Orioles Take the Lead and Hold On!
Dylan Beavers came through in the 7th inning with a crucial single that allowed Jeremiah Jackson to score, pulling the Orioles ahead 4-3. From then on, our bullpen took control. Tanner Akin closed it out in the 9th inning, keeping our lead intact and sealing the victory for the Orioles.
A hard-fought win for our beloved Orioles, showcasing grit, resilience, and the will to win. What an incredible game that’s sure to boost us in the standings! Let's carry this momentum forward! Go O's!
