An Explosive Start by the Orioles
What a game for the Baltimore Orioles!
The Orioles took on the San Diego Padres and delivered a thrilling 7-5 victory. It all started with Jackson Holliday setting the tone in the top of the first inning with a solo homer to right center field, giving the Orioles an immediate 1-0 lead. 
After some early struggles by the Padres' bats, we held the lead comfortably through the first two innings.Third Inning Fireworks
The third inning was an absolute blast for our squad! Colton Cowser crushed a three-run bomb followed by back-to-back solo shots from Coby Mayo and Alex Jackson to blow the game wide open, extending our lead to an astonishing 7-0. The Padres looked shaken at this point, and we knew that our offense came to play tonight.
Holding the Line & Sealing the Win
Despite the Padres showing signs of life in the sixth inning with a two-run homer by Manny Machado and some restless base running that brought home more runs, reducing our lead to 7-4, our defense held strong.
Fernando Tatis Jr. added a solo homer in the seventh, but our bullpen held the door — Cano coming in the ninth locked down the win with a clutch performance, striking out the fearsome lineup of Wagner, Tatis Jr., and Arraez to cement the final score of 7-5.Overall, it was a fantastic win marked by explosive batting and resilient pitching.
Here's to hoping that our Orioles will continue to dominate and build on this momentum. Go, Birds!
