Dominant Start by the Giants
What a game, Giants fans!
Our team put on an absolute clinic tonight against the Orioles. Right off the bat, we saw some impressive plays. In the bottom of the 1st inning, Rafael Devers hit a monstrous home run to center field, setting the tone for the game. The power and precision of his swing got us on the board early, and from there, it was all Giants!Building the Lead
Moving into the later innings, our lineup just kept delivering. Big credit to Heliot Ramos and Drew Gilbert in the 3rd inning. Gilbert managed a slick infield single, and then Ramos followed up with a single to center, advancing Gilbert to third. Not to mention, Devers came through again with a single that brought Gilbert home! By the end of the 4th, our lead had extended to 7-0. Bold plays and capitalizing on the Orioles' errors were the name of the game.Sealing the Victory
The boys widened the gap in the 6th inning, thanks to some strategic batting and a couple of key errors from the Orioles. Dominic Smith knocked in Ramos, and then Casey Schmitt stepped in with some aggressive running after replacing Matt Chapman. Thanks to a triple by Gilbert and a single by Matos, the inning was ours!Closing the Deal
Our bullpen held strong, with rank and file playing from Justin Verlander, Joey Lucchesi, and Tyler Bivens, ensuring the Orioles' hitters stayed off balance. We might have allowed two runs in the 9th inning, but overall, the boys stood their ground and sealed the deal with a convincing 13-2 victory!Solid pitching, seamless fieldwork, and an unstoppable offensive lineup!
