The game kicked off with a bang in the bottom of the 1st inning as Junior Caminero smashed a three-run homer to bring in Chandler Simpson and Yandy Díaz, giving the Rays a quick 3-0 lead. Caminero's 439-foot shot set the tone for the rest of the game! Not to be left out of the action, Danny Jansen further capitalized in the 2nd inning with a solo homer, extending our lead to 4-0. You could feel the energy surging through the stadium!
Strong Pitching and Tight Defense
The Rays' pitchers were on point today! They held the Orioles' lineup in check throughout the game, allowing only one run in the final inning. Our defense was a wall, with Jake Mangum, Ha-Seong Kim, and Jonathan Aranda hustling in the field, ensuring smooth innings for our side. The Orioles had a hard time getting anything past us.
Relentless Attack and Slugger Parade
As if the home runs from Caminero and Jansen weren't enough, Yandy Díaz added to the fireworks with a grand slam in the 6th inning! This impressive feat brought in Jansen, Simpson, and Brandon Lowe after a masterful buildup, pushing the score to 10-0. Junior Caminero couldn't let the action die, adding another solo home run to his name, taking us to the final scoreline of 11-1. Our guys were unstoppable!
