A Successful Start: Pitching Dominance
Pitching was on point for the Rangers at the start, shutting down the Orioles' lineup early on. Jacob deGrom put on a masterclass, efficiently dealing with batters. With Jackson Holliday and Ramon Laureano being retired in quick succession, it was clear that our defense wasn't messing around!
Building Momentum: Third Inning Outburst
A quiet first two innings gave way to fireworks in the bottom of the third! Sam Haggerty and Josh Smith got on base, setting the stage for Adolis García, who smacked a clutch single to bring both runners home. Later, Jonah Heim piled on with another hit, further extending our lead. The Rangers ended the inning with a 3-0 lead, and the energy in Globe Life Field was electric!

Even after the Orioles' Gary Sanchez narrowed the gap with a two-run homer, our boys never let up. In the bottom of the 5th, Alejandro Osuna crushed a monster homer that soared over the right-field stands, bringing A. García along for the ride. This tremendous shot stretched our lead to 5-2, and you could almost taste victory!
Closing the Floodgates: Final Push to Victory
The eighth inning sealed the deal, with an unbelievable rally ignited by chaotic Baltimore pitching. Those wild pitches were a godsend! Justin Foscue took full advantage with a solid double to bring home two more runs, as our boys put the game out of reach at 10-2. With Brett Latz closing things out on the mound, striking out batters Stallings and Mayo with ease, nothing could disrupt this perfect night.
