Initial Excitement
The Toronto Blue Jays faced off against the Baltimore Orioles, and as a dedicated Blue Jays fan, there were some moments to be proud of! The game kicked off with a bit of a challenge for us, as the Orioles took an early lead. However, we didn't stay behind for long. Bo Bichette got us started with a single in the bottom of the first inning, followed by a hit from Vladimir Guerrero Jr., helping Anthony Santander drive in Toronto's first run. Shortly after, Alejandro Kirk brought in Guerrero Jr. with a sacrifice fly to tie the game at 2-2. Mid-Game Magic
Things were looking up in the third inning when Andres Gimenez smashed a homer to center, scoring Bichette and putting us ahead 4-2.
A Tough Finish But Plenty of Hope
Although we put up a good fight and Bichette showed his prowess with another hit in the ninth inning, Baltimore's Felix Bautista clinched the game for the Orioles with solid closing. The final scoreboard read a tough 9-5 loss. Despite the scoreline, it's evident the Blue Jays hitters had good potential, with Bichette shining with consistent performance and Guerrero Jr. working hard. There’s always the next game for some sweet Jays redemption!
