Orioles Take the Lead Early

What a thrilling game in Toronto for us Baltimore Orioles fans! 🎉 The Orioles wasted no time getting on the board in the top of the 1st inning. Colton Cowser set the tone with a solo homer to center field, going a whopping 417 feet. 🤩 Jordan Westburg joined the homer party with a 434-foot blast to left-center, giving us an early 2-0 lead. Our bats were hot, and the Orioles were off to a fantastic start!

Playing Catch Up

The Blue Jays managed to tie the game briefly in the bottom of the 1st inning, but our pitching managed to avoid any further drama. The turning point came in the 4th inning when the rally started courtesy of Ryan O'Hearn with a double to left, quickly followed by scoring plays by Cedric Mullins, Heston Kjerstad, and an unforgettable double by Ramon Urías, which brought in three runs to put us ahead 6-4. 💪📈

Seal the Victory

Our Orioles continued to push on the gas, refusing to let up. In the top of the 7th, Westburg wasn't done for the night; he hit his second homer of the game, extending our lead to 9-5! 😍 A great night for our bats and solid pitching kept those Blue Jays at bay. Despite some threats in the latter innings, our bullpen managed to shut Toronto down, culminating in a classic strikeout from Felix Bautista to end the game.

Final score: 9-5, Orioles win! 🎊 Great team effort, fabulous display of skill, and an overall satisfying win for the Orioles and all their fans! 🧡🖤 Let's keep this momentum rolling, Birdland! 🌟👏
