Like champions, we rallied in the 7th inning. Story got things rolling after being hit by a pitch and stealing second. Nathaniel Lowe followed with an infield single, putting us in an advantageous position. David Hamilton singled to score Story, bringing us closer. The highlight of this inning came from heads-up base running and a fielding error by third baseman Jordan Lawlar, allowing both Lowe and Hamilton to score. By mid-7th, we had taken a 4-3 lead!

Tied 4-4 going into the 9th, our boys showed true grit. Romy González and Nate Eaton set the stage with a single and walk, respectively. And just like that, pinch hitter Nick Sogard came through with a clutch double to center, scoring both runners. Carlos Narvaez followed with another RBI single, bringing in Sogard.
