Although things started slow with the Braves getting an early lead in the 1st inning, the Red Sox were soon after them. In the 6th inning, Carlos Narváez showcased his skill with a crucial double that set up Abraham Toro to drive him home with another double, extending the lead! And, in the 9th inning, Rafael Devers delivered a two-run single that brought excitement and sealed the deal for us. It was spectacular watching these boys in red get the job done.
Pitching Holds Strong
The Red Sox's bullpen was absolutely stellar tonight. Hats off to them! Relievers kept the Braves from gaining traction after that initial score, executing clean inning after clean inning. Chris Whitlock and Aroldis Chapman particularly stood out, with Chapman closing the game in style by striking out the final two batters. What an end to a fantastic win!
