Tough Day at Camden Yards
The match-up against the Boston Red Sox didn't go as we hoped, fellow O's fans. We fell 3-0, and despite some flashes of promise, we're just going to have to tip our caps to Boston today. Early Troubles
The game began with both teams trading scoreless blows in the first inning, but the trouble started in the top of the 2nd when Trevor Story sent one out of the park. That solo shot set the tone, putting Boston ahead 1-0. We nearly put some pressure on in the second inning with a single from Ramon Laureano and a walk drawn by Ramon Urias, but alas, we couldn't capitalize.Mid-Game Struggles
As we moved into the 5th inning, the Red Sox extended their lead. With Kristian Campbell's double and Ceddanne Rafaela bringing him home, the Red Sox found themselves in prime position. Then, a double by Rafael Devers added to Boston's tally. Meanwhile, our lineup struggled to gather momentum, leaving us still searching for our first run.Fighting Until the End
We gave it everything until the end. Ramon Urías tried to spark a rally in the 8th with a single, but a double play dashed our hopes. Finally, in the 9th, despite a valiant walk by Adley Rutschman, we couldn’t break Chapman's hold on the game. It's a tough pill to swallow, folks. Nevertheless, we’ll get right back up and be ready for the next one! Go O's!
