Tough Day at Camden Yards for the Orioles
Hey, O’s fans
Strong Pitching Dominated Early
The first inning was uneventful for both sides as our pitchers did a great job keeping the Red Sox scoreless. Jackson Holliday, Jeremiah Jackson, and Gunnar Henderson couldn't break through either, ending the inning without a score.Red Sox Home Run Blows
The Red Sox took the lead in the second inning with a homer by Trevor Story, and again in the third with a homer by David Hamilton, giving them a 2-0 edge over us. Our boys, despite their best efforts, couldn't seem to respond with the bats.Orioles Struggle Offensively
In the fifth inning, Dylan Beavers gave us a glimmer of hope with a double to right, but unfortunately, Vimael Machin was unable to bring him home. Overall, our lineup struggled to find its rhythm against the solid Red Sox pitching.Late-Inning Woes
The eighth inning added to our woes as Ceddanne Rafaela scored on a fielder's choice, and the ninth inning saw us conceding two more runs, thanks to a clutch double by David Hamilton. Despite Colton Cowser and Samuel Basallo getting singles in the bottom of the ninth, we couldn’t capitalize and bring any runs across the plate.Looking Forward to Better Days
It’s tough to swallow a shutout loss, my fellow fans, but let's not forget about our young roster brimming with potential. It's all about development and growth! We'll bounce back stronger and ready to challenge again. For now, let’s keep cheering our team on with the same fervor and pride. Go O's!
