A Glorious Victory at Camden Yards!
Hey fellow Sox fans!
What a game we had against the Orioles, walking away with an incredible 8-3 win. Let's dive into how our boys did at Camden Yards. Starting Off Strong
It was an exciting start in the top of the 1st, with Wilyer Abreu smashing a home run to right, giving us the early lead. Then, Rafael Devers brought in Rob Refsnyder with a single to center. Getting ahead with a quick 2-0 was just the momentum we needed!
But the Orioles weren't going to make it easy, turning around in the bottom of the 1st to snatch the lead at 3-2.Red Sox Climb Back!
In the top of the 2nd, the speed of Ceddanne Rafaela and a double by Jarren Duran tied the game. By the end of the inning, another bold move by Devers brought Duran home, taking back the lead at 4-3. This game was turning into a nail-biter, and I was here for it!
Pitchers Putting In Work
The middle innings became a pitcher's duel, with both sides putting zeros on the board. Our Sox didn’t add to the lead, but our pitchers kept the Orioles at bay, with strikeouts from Rutschman, Santander, and more, keeping us in the lead.Sealing the Deal
Heading into the 8th, Devers was back at it with a triple, later scoring thanks to Connor Wong. But the true highlight was in the 9th when Refsnyder blasted a home run, bringing in Rafaela, and solidifying our lead at 8-3.A Strong Finish
With the Orioles last up, they couldn't overcome our lead, ending the game at an 8-3 win for our Red Sox. It was a fantastic mix of strategic hitting, solid pitching, and that Red Sox fighting spirit!
