Cubs Dominate in Series Opener!
What a performance! The Chicago Cubs came out swinging and conquered the Boston Red Sox with a commanding 4-1 victory at Wrigley Field. It was truly a spectacular night for the Cubs, especially for Seiya Suzuki who was the star of the show. In the bottom of the first inning, after Michael Busch and Kyle Tucker took consecutive walks, Seiya Suzuki crushed a home run to center field, driving in three runs and sending the Cubs' faithful into a frenzy!
Pitching Perfection!
The Cubs' pitchers were absolutely in control from start to finish. Our boys on the mound kept the Red Sox bats in check, with magnificent efforts from the bullpen as well. Thielbar, Pressly, and Pomeranz all seamlessly followed Rea's solid start. In the eighth inning, with a 4-1 lead, Keller and Palencia took over to seal the deal. They displayed masterful command and ensured the Red Sox stood no chance at a comeback.

Adding Insurance!
In the sixth inning, Ian Happ showcased his speed and determination by doubling to right field and eventually scoring on a single by Nico Hoerner. This crucial run extended our lead to 4-1, providing additional comfort as the game headed into the later innings.Wrigley Field was electric, and the Cubs played like champions.
