Tough Start for the Guardians
As a passionate Cleveland Guardians fan, it's always tough seeing the team stumble early in the game. The Boston Red Sox jumped to an early lead in the top of the 1st inning when Trevor Story singled to center, allowing Rafael Devers to score. Our guys struggled in the bottom of the inning with Steven Kwan, Daniel Schneemann, and Jose Ramirez all grounding out, leaving us scoreless and behind 0-1. Let's shake it off, Guardians!
Mid-Game Fireworks from Noel
The following innings weren't much kinder to us, as the Red Sox extended their lead to 6-0 by the end of the 3rd inning. But in the bottom of the 4th, our Guardians showed some life! Gabriel Arias doubled to left, then Angel Martinez singled, pushing Arias home for our first score. The excitement peaked when Jhonkensy Noel hit an impressive home run to left field, bringing Martinez home and cutting the Red Sox's lead to 6-3. Noel's homer was a highlight, and a reminder of the Guardians’ potential!

Strong Effort, But Not Enough
The Red Sox managed another run in the 6th inning, increasing their lead to 7-3. Our Guardians battled, with players like Steven Kwan and Kyle Manzardo getting on base, but unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize on those opportunities. In the 9th, Aroldis Chapman closed the game for the Red Sox, leaving the final score at 7-3. While it wasn't our night, there were some glimmers of hope and moments to build on. On to the next one, Guardians! We'll get them next time!
