A Tough Loss at Home
Hey fellow Astros fans
Early Innings Challenge
Our bats were ice-cold in the early innings. Jeremy Peña showed some hustle with his hits, both singles to kick things off. However, our offense struggled to capitalize on these early opportunities. Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve couldn't quite find their groove, and despite a single from Yainer Diaz and infield singles from others, we just couldn't turn them into runs. Our defense held them close in the first few innings, as the Red Sox only managed to notch two runs until the 6th inning, but that was just the calm before the storm. The Red Sox Surge
Ouch, the 6th inning was when things really got away from us. Following a few pitching changes, the Red Sox exploded offensively. Carlos Narváez and Alex Bregman both hit commanding homers that were an unwelcome sight
Our Effort in the 9th Inning
Even though it was a tough game, we did finally prevent a shutout in the 9th inning
Let's keep our spirits high, Astros fans. We have the heart and determination to come back from this setback and show our true potential in the next game!
