A Hot Start for the Brewers

What a fantastic start for our Milwaukee Brewers! Right out of the gate, Jackson Chourio sent sparks flying with a home run to left-center, giving us the early lead, 1-0. His towering homer set the tone for the game, and it was incredible to see him hitting his stride so early on. That first inning felt electric, even though Isaac Collins and William Contreras both struck out, and Rhys Hoskins couldn’t capitalize on his single after Daz Cameron's pop out.

Mid-Game Tightrope

Through the middle innings, it was all about the defense holding strong. A big shoutout to our pitchers who kept the Red Sox at bay 🎉. Until the top of the 8th, the Sox hadn’t managed to score, largely thanks to some quality pitch selection and a stellar infield. Joey Ortiz made a double in the bottom of the 5th that led to Andruw Monasterio zipping him home with another double, extending our lead to 2-0. Our defense was on top, but that didn't mean the opposition wasn’t lurking.

Nail-Biting Closing

As we know, no game is over until it’s truly over. The Red Sox cut our lead to 2-1 in the top of the 8th, but when Eric Haase stepped up to bat in the bottom of that inning, he came through in the clutch 💪. What a moment when he recovered our two-run lead by bringing in Contreras with an infield single! Despite some tense moments in the top of the 9th, like Jarren Duran reducing the score to 3-2, Trevor Megill sealed the win by getting Wong to fly out to right. A thrilling finish with a 3-2 victory, and we continue to push forward with our fighting spirit. Keep it up, Brewers! 🍻👏
