Right from the start, it seemed like it wasn't going to be our night. In the top of the 3rd inning, the Red Sox took advantage of a fielding error by Willi Castro in left field, allowing Alex Bregman to score. Then, a homer from Trevor Story put them in a 4-0 lead. Our bats remained silent through the 4th inning, struggling to make any headway against their pitching.Mid-Game Action
The prospect of a comeback seemed possible when Brooks Lee delivered in the 5th inning, bringing Harrison Bader home and scoring our first run. It sparked some hope among us fans, but we were still trailing. When Brooks Lee hit a massive homer in the 7th, bringing in two runs, it reignited the energy in the stadium. Thanks to Ryan Jeffers, who pinch-hit for Trevor Larnach just before, Lee capitalized beautifully, narrowing the score to 6-3.Late-Inning Efforts
