Tough Loss for the Red Sox on the Road

Red Sox Struggle to Get Rolling
The first inning went scoreless for our Sox with Jarren Duran, Rafael Devers, and Alex Bregman all failing to reach base. Meanwhile, Yandy Díaz smacked a solo homer to give the Rays an early lead. The second inning didn't go much better as both Wilyer Abreu and Trevor Story struck out. Our batters were swinging but came up short against some impressive pitching.
Rays Racked Up the Runs
The game started slipping from our grasp in the second inning when Kameron Misner hit a two-run homer. It only went downhill from there. The third inning was especially rough as the Rays kept scoring. In a daunting sequence, errors and hits by Christopher Morel and Jonathan Aranda increased the deficit. Our pitchers Tanner Houck, Michael Fulmer, and the bullpen tried to hold the line, but the Rays' lineup was relentless.
Let's put this one behind us and keep the faith.
