️ Our team showed grit and determination to secure a 2-0 victory over the Boston Red Sox. The pitching staff was absolutely phenomenal throughout the game, as they managed to keep Boston scoreless across all nine innings. The Red Sox went down swinging with little impact, thanks to strong performances from our pitchers, including McClanahan, Cleavinger, and L. The scoring started in the bottom of the 1st inning, thanks to the heroics of Junior Caminero, who doubled to center field to bring in Yandy Díaz, giving the Rays an early lead. The Red Sox were unable to recover as our guys put on a defensive showcase. The Rays held a steady 1-0 lead until the bottom of the 7th when Chandler Simpson reached on an infield single, stole second, and then was driven home by Jonny DeLuca with a clutch single to center field. This insurance run put the pressure squarely on the Red Sox, and our bullpen ensured it stayed that way. The Rays demonstrated impeccable fielding and a solid game plan, sending the Red Sox back to Boston scoreless.
