What a game!
As a tried-and-true Chicago Cubs fan, nothing feels better than watching our boys take down the crosstown rivals, the Chicago White Sox, with an impressive 6-1 victory! Both teams displayed outstanding pitching through the first six innings, keeping everything tightly locked at zeros. It sure kept us on the edge of our seats! 
Bats Break Out in the Seventh
Our Cubs waited until the seventh inning to unleash those bats, and wow, was it worth the wait! Ian Happ set the tone with a massive home run to right center. Then, just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Matt Shaw blasted a two-run homer to left, scoring Nico Hoerner and building a robust 3-0 lead.
Finishing Strong
The eighth inning brought more magic as Dansby Swanson and Matt Shaw contributed to a three-run inning, making it a commanding 6-0 lead over the Sox. Even with Mike Tauchman from the White Sox finally putting up a solo home run in the ninth, it wasn't nearly enough to dampen our spirits. Our bullpen, with remarkable performances, held the line, ensuring a comprehensive Cubs win.

It's always a satisfying day when the Cubs beat the White Sox, and today's game was no exception. With strong pitching, strategic hitting, and impressive defense, our Cubs played like champions, and we couldn't be prouder. Until next time, go Cubbies!
