What an electrifying game for us Cubs fans!

. It all kicked off in the 2nd inning with a bomb from Dansby Swanson, sending a 416-footer to left center that brought in Nico Hoerner for the lead! The power hitters were relentless today.Offensive Charge
In the 4th inning, Ian Happ made his mark by launching a 381-foot homer to widen the gap. With Nico Hoerner consistently making big moves with his bat, including doubles in both the 2nd and 4th innings, he was setting up scoring opportunities aplenty. One of the night's massive turning points was the top of the 5th when Swanson raked a triple into right, bringing home three runs. Cheers to clutch performances!
Then came the 7th inning encore with Swanson and Michael Busch slamming back-to-back homers. It seems that home plate at Coors Field just couldn't contain us today!
Closing it Out
The pitching roster did a commendable job keeping the Rockies at bay tonight. While the Rockies put up a late fight with a couple of home runs in the 8th inning, it wasn't enough to shake us. Special mention to our relievers for holding steady and Kittredge for sealing the deal in the 9th inning with a double-play to shut down any hopes of a Rockies comeback.Overall, it was a great day to be a Cubs fan
