Tough Loss for the Dodgers Against the Cubs
The Los Angeles Dodgers faced a challenging game against the Chicago Cubs, falling short with a final score of 10-4. Despite some promising moments, it was a tough day for our boys in blue.Early Struggles in the 1st Inning 🌧
The Cubs got off to a hot start, with Cody Bellinger delivering a 430-foot homer, putting us behind 3-0 by the end of the top of the 1st inning. A glimmer of hope came in the bottom of the 5th. Chris Taylor got on base with an infield single, followed by a single from Shohei Ohtani. The Cubs retaliated in the top of the 6th, adding three more runs with key hits from Cody Bellinger, Michael Busch, and Miguel Amaya. By the end of the inning, the score was 7-2, making it an uphill battle for the Dodgers.Betts’ Heroics in the 7th Inning

In the final inning, Andy Pages and Kevin Kiermaier both came in as pinch hitters but were unable to spark a late comeback.
