A Rollercoaster Start 🌀

The Brewers faced a bit of a rocky start in the first inning as Jacob Misiorowski struggled on the mound. The Cubs quickly took advantage, scoring three runs due to a wild pitch and a throwing error. However, the Brewers' spirit was not dampened as our boys held firm in defense, preventing further damage.

Brewers Bounce Back 💪

The tide turned in the third inning when the Brewers finally broke through the Cubs' defense. Sal Frelick got things rolling with a single, followed by William Contreras and Christian Yelich driving in runs to tie the score. It was Isaac Collins and Brice Turang who sealed the deal, each adding RBI's to give us a one-run lead before the inning concluded.

Power Surge Ignites 🔥

The fifth and sixth innings saw some fireworks as Andrew Vaughn and Sal Frelick showed off their power, both launching solo homers to extend the lead. But it was the seventh inning that delivered the knockout punch. With Christian Yelich hammering a two-run shot, it further demonstrated why he's such a fan favorite. The bullpen did an outstanding job, limiting the Cubs to just one more run, and securing an 8-4 victory over our Chicago rivals.

Brewers fans can celebrate this hard-earned victory today as our team fought valiantly to overcome an early deficit and show their grit on the field. Let’s keep this momentum and cheer them on into the next game—Go Brew Crew! 🍻
