Great Start for the Twins!

What a fantastic victory for our beloved Minnesota Twins! 🎉 Starting strong in the first inning, we saw Byron Buxton make a huge impact by getting hit by a pitch and then swiftly stealing second base. It was Ryan Jeffers who made the first breakthrough with a left field single that brought Buxton home and opened the scoring.👏 Not to be outdone, Carlos Correa delivered a double to drive in Jeffers, giving us a solid 2-0 lead early on.

Wallner's Monster Home Run Blasts the Lead

Matt Wallner was the star in the second inning with a towering 390-foot home run to right field, further extending our lead to 3-0. This home run truly energized the stadium and put the pressure squarely on the Cubs. All-Star strikeouts and dynamic fielding kept the Cubs scoreless until the fourth inning. 🌟

Holding Strong and Clinching the Win!

The Cubs managed to get a couple of runs in the fourth inning, but our defense stayed resilient. With Brooks Lee and others holding tight, the Cubs were kept at bay. Royce Lewis contributed by doubling to left field, eventually leading to another score when Wallner got caught stealing but not before Lewis touched home plate.

Pitching relief from Coulombe, Stewart, and the closing prowess of Duran ensured our 4-2 victory was secure. The way our team played today shows our potential for the season, and I can't wait for what's next! Go Twins! 💪⚾💙
