Talk about a roller-coaster, Mets fam! Last night's game against the Cubs was a nail-biter that ended in the sweetest way possible – a Mets victory! 
Slow Start But We Got There!
The game started off quiet, with the scoreboard staying clean until the 2nd inning when the Cubs snagged the first run. Our bats couldn't seem to get hot through the early innings, but boy did that change.
Cubs Take the Lead, But Not for Long...
The 5th inning had us on edge when Christopher Morel sent one flying for a three-run homer, pushing the Cubs up 4-0. But the Mets have a certain flair for the dramatic, right? Bottom of the 5th, Brandon Nimmo and Starling Marte clutch up with hits that put the Mets on the board!
Clawing Back, Inch by Inch!
Our comeback game was strong, evening up the score 5-5 by the end of the 6th, thanks to some crucial hitting by Nimmo again and a game-tying double from Francisco Lindor. The intensity was palpable!
Extra Innings Tension
Skipping ahead to the 11th, after the Cubs eked out another run, the situation was dire. But then the magic happened. With Brett Baty on second, Harrison Bader gets hit by a pitch, setting the stage for Lindor who, true to form, delivers a stunning double, bringing in both runners and clinching the win!
Mets Walk off into Victory!
