A Tough Day at the Coliseum
Oakland Athletics fans, it was a rough outing against the Chicago Cubs as the game finished with a final score of 10-2 in favor of the Cubs. The A's struggled to keep up with the Cubs' offensive surge. Let’s dive into the details of this battle at the Coliseum that sadly didn't go our way.Cubs Come Out Swinging
After a scoreless first inning, the Cubs turned on the heat in the second inning. A sac fly by Kelly followed by a three-run homer from Seiya Suzuki helped the Cubs load up the score to 4-0. Unfortunately, our pitcher couldn’t hold back their momentum and by the end of the third, the Cubs were leading 5-0.A's Fight Back but Cubs Remain Unyielding
Our boys in green and gold got their two runs in the third inning courtesy of Brent Rooker, who smashed a two-run homer to bring in Lawrence Butler.
Closing Efforts Fall Short
Despite our efforts in the last innings with a promising double by Jacob Wilson in the ninth, our offense couldn't break through. The Cubs pitchers did their job, and the A's ended the game on a quiet note.Looking Ahead
It’s always tough to see days like these, but that’s the beauty of baseball! Every game is an opportunity to learn and come back stronger. Keep your spirits high, Athletics fans! We’ll regroup and look forward to bouncing back in the next game!

Until next time, let's continue to support our team with pride! Go A's!
