Cubs Start Strong in the First Inning
Wow, what a start for our Cubs!

Athletics Try to Rally, But Cubs Stay Dominant
The Athletics got a bit of life in the third inning with Jacob Wilson's solo homer to left. But our boys were unfazed. We charged ahead in the fourth as Carson Kelly launched one to left and brought us to 5-1. The A's tried fighting back in the bottom fourth, scoring two more, but our rally was far from over.In the top of the fifth, the Cubs took control once again. With bases loaded, Kelly's single pushed across two runs. An error by the A's first baseman allowed Matt Shaw to score, while Busch kept things rolling, adding two more with a single to left. Before long, we were sitting comfortably at 10-3. The Cubs were relentlessly piling it on!

Cubs Seal the Victory in Explosive Final Innings
By the sixth, it was an avalanche. Kyle Tucker doubled to bring in Kelly, and the runs kept pouring in with Swanson and Hoerner's contributions. Come the eighth, Kelly added another with a triple to right. In the ninth inning, Tucker homered again, capping off his stellar performance, and Suzuki sent another double to left. The Athletics simply couldn't catch up, and our Cubs took a decisive 18-3 victory. What an incredible game with fireworks from start to finish! The bats were alive, and the team showed grit and determination on each play. Proud of the effort and teamwork today, and can't wait for the next matchup. Go Cubs Go!
