Victorious Offensive Firepower

Schwar-BOMB and Phils Keep Piling On
In the third inning, Kyle Schwarber electrified the crowd with a monstrous home run to right center (431 feet). It was a pure display of his slugging capabilities, adding to the Cubs’ woes. Later, in the bottom of the fourth, Alec Bohm drove in a couple more with a clutch single to center. By the time we reached the bottom of the seventh, Bohm wasn’t done—he smacked a solo home run to left center, sealing the Cubs' fate. This kind of slugfest by our team is what keeps us fans coming back for more!
Solid Pitching and Defensive Prowess
Let's not forget the remarkable display from our pitching staff who held the Cubs to just two runs. Our pitchers were dialed in, with strikeouts aplenty and composed performances. Otto Kemp showed his defensive skill, while Johan Rojas made one fielding error but remained solid in other instances. The Phillies' defense and pitching successfully shut down the heart of the Cubs’ lineup, maintaining a cool composure throughout the game. Kudos to our guys on the mound and in the field for holding strong!
The Phillies continue to show grit and determination, leaving us hopeful and excited for what's to come in the rest of the season! On to the next one, Phils!
