Cubs' Comeback Victory! 
Fellow Cubs fans, what a thrilling game! We faced off against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and after a slow start, our boys pulled off a fantastic comeback to secure an 8-3 victory.
The Pirates got on the board first with a homer from Bryan Reynolds in the bottom of the first. Our bats were initially quiet with Ian Happ's single in the first inning being our only highlight. Heading into the fifth inning, we were still trailing 2-0.
Power Surge in the Fifth Inning 
Everything changed in the top of the fifth inning when the Cubs ignited a home run surge! Dansby Swanson started things off with a homer to centerfield, cutting the deficit in half. Then Kyle Tucker and Seiya Suzuki followed up with back-to-back homers, giving us the lead at 3-2. The tide had turned, and the Cubs were roaring back into life!
Dominant Down the Stretch 
The seventh inning saw Seiya Suzuki strike again with his second homer of the game, pushing our lead to 5-2. We continued to pour it on in the ninth. Ian Happ doubled home Dansby Swanson to make it 6-3, and Michael Busch capped off the night with a two-run single.
All that was left was for our bullpen to shut things down, and they did just that! Ryan Pressly closed out the game in style.
What a fantastic team effort today. This win truly showcases the depth of our lineup and our never-say-die attitude. Can't wait to keep this momentum going! Go Cubs Go!
