What a night for our beloved Chicago Cubs! Traveling to Pittsburgh, the team really showed who's boss with a commanding 4-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Right from the get-go, Michael Busch set the tone for the evening, smashing a homer to right-field covering an impressive 385 feet. Talk about starting off with a bang! 
That early lead got our momentum rolling, and we didn't look back.Strong Offense and Key Plays 
Our offense kept piling on the pressure. After Busch's impressive start, Pete Crow-Armstrong added to the tally with a solid single to left that brought Ian Happ home to make it 2-0. Of course, we couldn't overlook Nico Hoerner playing his part with crucial infield singles to keep those innings alive. And how about that sacrifice fly from Happ in the 2nd that allowed Busch to score again? Love seeing our lineup work together seamlessly! 
Lockdown Defense and Pitching Dominance 
Our pitching tonight? Simply stellar! The Pirates were kept at bay, managing just a single run, thanks to a Oneil Cruz triple in the bottom of the first. But that was the only real blemish. Our bullpen, featuring the likes of Drew Pomeranz and Andrew Kittredge, ensured there were no comebacks by consistently shutting down their batters. And, of course, the incredible defense support meant that Pittsburgh never found their rhythm. Such teamwork!
