A Strong Start
We kicked off the game with a bang as Nicky Lopez homered to right center, giving us an early 1-0 lead. Luis Robert Jr., Andrew Benintendi, and Andrew Vaughn followed but couldn't build on the lead. Still, a solid start! The Orioles Strike Back
The Orioles' Gunnar Henderson answered right back with a homer of his own. Fortunately, our defense held strong, and we ended the inning with the score tied at 1-1.Holding the Line
Both teams kept the pressure on through the second and third innings, but neither could break the tie. Cedric Mullins's steal attempt was beautifully foiled, keeping the 1-1 score intact.Turning the Tide
Andrew Vaughn blasted a homer to center in the top of the 4th, putting us ahead 2-1. Not wanting to be left out, Dominic Fletcher followed up with a two-run homer after Lenyn Sosa's single. We're now up 4-1!Pulling Away
In the 5th inning, Luis Robert Jr. doubled to bring Lopez home, followed by a sacrifice fly from Sosa to stretch our lead to 6-1. We're showing no mercy to the Orioles today!Pitching Domination
Our pitchers were lights out. The Orioles couldn't find their rhythm in the 5th, 6th, or 7th innings. We maintained our 6-1 lead, showing exceptional defense and pitching.Closing It Out in Style
The 9th inning saw more dominance from our side. Benintendi's walk was followed by hits from Vaughn and Sheets, and Sosa added another run. Fletcher grounded out but brought another run home to make it 8-1.Final Inning Drama
Though Maton and Mullins tried putting pressure on, our pitching held strong, and Mayo's strikeout sealed the deal. End of the 9th, and we walked away victorious, 8-1!Great team effort, strong pitching, and some explosive batting put us back in the win column. Way to go, White Sox!
