A Promising Start
The Chicago White Sox had a strong start against the Detroit Tigers, jumping to an early lead in the first inning.

Holding the Lead
The White Sox continued to apply pressure and maintain their lead. In the 4th inning, Matt Thaiss reached on an infield single, and subsequent efforts by Miguel Vargas and a sacrifice fly from Jacob Amaya increased the score to 3-1. Our pitchers were holding the Tigers at bay, with the defense keeping things tight and getting crucial outs.
A Tough Finish
Despite our leads throughout the game, the Tigers rallied back in the bottom of the 9th inning. After Javier Baez scored, a series of walks and a crucial double by Spencer Torkelson allowed the Tigers to score three more runs, ultimately giving them a 4-3 victory. It was a heartbreaker to see a win slip away in the final innings, but the White Sox fought bravely, and there's hope for redemption in the next game.
Onward and upward, White Sox! Let's catch the win next time!
