Heartbreaker in Kansas City
What a tough game for us White Sox fans! Despite a decent performance from our boys, we just couldn't finish it off against the Kansas City Royals. We started out strong, managing to claw our way to a lead, but ultimately fell short as the Royals took it 4-3.
Early Lead and Hope
It was nice to see Brooks Baldwin ignite our offense early in the game, driving in Matt Thaiss with a single in the fourth inning.

Late Inning Turmoil
But oh, the ninth inning... things just fell apart. A couple of defensive missteps, including a costly error by Jacob Amaya, gave the Royals the chance to sneak back in. And after a clutch single from Bobby Witt Jr., the Royals managed to score twice, ending the game with them on top, 4-3.
It's always tough to see our beloved team lose in the final moments like this. Still, we showed some good signs in the game, and hopefully, some lessons were learned to tighten up the defense for future outings. Hold your heads high, Sox fans, and let's look forward to the next game!
