Tough Start to the Game

The game got off to a rocky start for us, fellow Twins fans. In the top of the 2nd inning, the White Sox managed to get on the board with a solo homer from Colson Montgomery and a two-run shot from Chase Meidroth 💔. Unfortunately, the Twins couldn't answer back in the bottom half, despite Royce Lewis reaching first on a fielding error. Edouard Julien and James Outman walked to load the bases, giving us hope, but Byron Buxton could only bring in one run with a walk.

Fighting Back

The Twins showed some fight in the 4th and 6th innings, ⚾️ reducing the deficit with a sacrifice fly from Byron Buxton and a thrilling homer by Royce Lewis in the 6th 🌟. DaShawn Keirsey Jr. showcased his speed on the base paths, scoring on a sac fly, thanks to some aggressive base running that brought the Twins level at 4-4!

A Close Finish

Our boys took the lead in the bottom of the 7th inning when Brooks Lee singled in Austin Martin, pushing us to a 5-4 lead 🙌. Unfortunately, the crew from Chicago answered back in the 8th with back-to-back doubles from Bryan Ramos and Tauchman, ending the inning up 6-5. Despite a rally in the bottom of the 9th, we couldn't quite get it done, with Ryan Jeffers and Austin Martin both making outs and Luke Keaschall striking out in a tense finish. It was a close game, and we saw some good moments, but the end just wasn't in our favor. Keep the faith, Twins fans, we'll get them next time! ⚾💪🌟
