Heartbreak in Seattle
The Chicago White Sox faced a tough loss against the Seattle Mariners in a nail-biter that ended with a 3-4 loss for our boys. Despite showing promise and taking the lead early on, some key moments slipped through our fingers, turning the tide in favor of the Mariners.Early Glimpses of Victory
The game started off strong for the White Sox, with Martin Maldonado delivering a crucial single in the 2nd inning that brought in our first run. The energy was infectious, and soon after, Andrew Vaughn and Paul DeJong both launched solo homers in the 3rd inning, setting us up with a solid 3-1 lead.

The Mariners didn't let their early deficit demoralize them. By the bottom of the 7th, they managed to flip the script on us. A couple of costly errors and a pivotal double by Cal Raleigh saw the Mariners snatch the lead, 4-3, leaving Sox fans stunned.
Despite our best efforts, including a daring steal to third by Duke Ellis, we just couldn't crack the Mariners' bullpen in the later innings.The Final Stand
Heading into the 9th inning, hope was still alive. Yet, Seattle's Ryne Stanek proved too much for us, sealing the game and snuffing out our rally. It was a frustrating end, especially after leading for a good portion of the game. Seeing Gavin Sheets fly out to center field for the final out was like a silent movie playing out—so much hope, yet ending in silence.Wrapping Up
