Tough Loss in Atlanta
Hey, Reds Nation!
Early Struggles and Mid-Game Push
We got off to a rocky start, with the Braves snagging an early 1-0 lead in the 1st inning when Austin Riley scored on a sacrifice fly by Matt Olson. Despite our best efforts, the Reds couldn't capitalize early on, with a couple of strikeouts and groundouts leaving us scoreless through the opening innings.Spencer Steer and Santiago Espinal kick-started our efforts in the 5th inning. Thanks to Jose Trevino's double, we managed to tie the game at 1-1! It felt like it was just the momentum shift we needed!

Exciting Finish and a Heartbreaker in Extras
Fast forward to the 9th inning—our bats came alive! Rece Hinds delivered a massive two-run homer to left center, turning a 2-2 tie into a 4-2 lead. But alas, the Braves managed to tie it up once again, taking the game into extra innings. We had chances with men in scoring positions, but just couldn’t seal the deal. In the 11th, even with Tyler Rogers taking the mound for us, the Braves managed to clinch the win with a walk-off single by Drake Baldwin.
Looking Ahead
Tough one to swallow, folks, but there’s no denying we kept fighting till the end! We saw flashes of brilliance from Rece Hinds and Jose Trevino, and that’s something to take into our next games. Let’s keep that chin up, Reds fans—tomorrow’s another day on the diamond and we’ll be cheering our hearts out once again!

Stay hopeful, keep cheering, and let’s get that next win!
