Tough Loss in a Competitive Matchup
Well, fellow O's fans, it wasn't the result we were hoping for today against the Reds. The 8-3 loss stings, especially after seeing some promising moments at the plate and on the mound. While Cincinnati had the upper hand, it wasn't all bad news for us.Mullins and Kjerstad Light Up the Scoreboard
The highlight of the game for Baltimore came early when Cedric Mullins launched a solo shot to right field in the bottom of the 2nd, giving us that initial spark. His homer was a beauty at 345 feet, setting the tone for what we hoped would be a strong offensive game.

Pitching Struggles and Reds' Power Surge
Unfortunately, the Reds capitalized with their power hitters. Elly De La Cruz and Matt McLain both had homers that shifted the momentum their way, putting us in a deficit. Former Orioles left fielder Austin Hays also found some luck on a fielding error that added to the Reds' lead. The bullpen relieved Cade Povich saw some action with Blake Blewett and Pedro Pérez giving it their best to limit the damage. While it may not have been our night, let's keep supporting the squad as the season continues! Let's go, O's!
