A Tough Day at Camden Yards
O's fans, today was a tough pill to swallow. Facing off against the Cincinnati Reds, our Baltimore Orioles had a hard night, falling 24-2. Despite the lopsided score, there were a few moments that kept us on our toes, and as always, we saw flashes of brilliance from our beloved team.

Early Innings and Some Hope
The game started off with promise when Cedric Mullins reached on an infield single in the first inning. Unfortunately, we couldn’t convert that early chance into runs.
Rough Middle Innings and One Bright Spot
The Reds found their groove during the third inning, courtesy of a barrage of hits and an unfortunate error, putting them ahead 8-1 by the middle of the inning. Our pitching struggled to contain their offense, and the game began to tilt heavily in the Reds' favor. The innings dragged on as the Reds piled on more hits and observations became murmurs of disbelief. A ray of sunshine pierced through in the eighth inning when Adley Rutschman smacked a solo home run to right field. Seeing that ball sail out gave us o’s fans something to cheer about.
Late Game and Final Thoughts
Unfortunately, the Reds didn’t let up, adding more runs in the 9th to further widen their lead. The Orioles put up a valiant effort in the final inning with Jordan Westburg doubling again. However, the deficit was too great to overcome. These games can be tough, but they're all part of the journey. Let's keep our spirit up and continue to support our Orioles. Tomorrow is another chance to show our mettle and shine!
